Southern prep style

If you’re looking to add a touch of southern prep to your style, there are a few key pieces you’ll need. A classic button-down shirt is a must – it can be worn on its own or layered under a sweater or blazer. Chinos are another essential; they’re perfect for both casual and dressier occasions. And no southern prep look is complete without a pair of boat shoes or loafers. Add in some seersucker or madras accents and you’ll be channeling your inner south with ease.

Finally, don’t forget the accessories. A belt, watch and sunglasses are all classic pieces that will add to your look. A bow tie or pocket square can also be worn for a more preppy feel. With these items in your wardrobe, you’ll be well on your way to achieving the perfect southern prep style.

A key to the armoire

If you’re ever in need of a key to the armoire, look no further than your local hardware store. With a few simple supplies and a little bit of elbow grease, you can easily make your own key that will open any armoire door.

First, start by measuring the width of the door’s keyhole. You’ll need to get a piece of wire that is long enough to reach from one side of the keyhole to the other. Once you have your wire, bend it into a U-shape so that it fits snugly around the sides of the keyhole.

Next, take a small piece of duct tape and adhere it to the top of the wire. This will serve as a handle for you to grip when you insert the wire into the keyhole.

Now, gently insert the wired duct tape handle into the keyhole and wiggle it back and forth until you feel the latch inside begin to move. Once you’ve disengaged the latch, simply pull on the duct tape handle and voila! The door should now be open.

My darling diary

In my darling diary, I chronicle the everyday moments that make up my life. From the mundane to the momentous, each entry is a record of my thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Through my writing, I process and make sense of the world around me. My diary is a safe space where I can be honest and vulnerable, without fear of judgement. It’s a place for me to work through my problems and celebrate my triumphs.

My diary is a treasured possession that contains some of my most precious memories. It’s a living document of my life that I can look back on and reflect on in years to come.

Sweet southern prep

When it comes to Southern preppy style, nothing is sweeter than a classic Lilly Pulitzer dress. But what exactly is Southern preppy style? And how can you get the look?

Southern prep is all about classic, ladylike pieces with a twist. Think seersucker dresses with ruffles, gingham tops with eyelet details, and khaki shorts with coral Reef sandals. The key to nailing the look is to mix and match different prints and patterns while keeping the overall look polished and put-together.

Ready to start shopping for your own sweet Southern prep style? Here are some of our favorite pieces to get you started:

-A seersucker dress in a pretty print: Pair it with pearls and nude pumps for a classic look, or add a colorful cardigan and wedges for a preppy twist.

-A printed blouse: Tuck it into a pair of white jeans or denim shorts for a casual look, or dress it up with black pants or a skirt for work or evening events.

-Khaki shorts: These are versatile enough to be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. For a casual daytime look, pair them with a striped tee or tank top. Dress them up with a blouse and heels for dinner or drinks.

-Coral Reef sandals: These add just the right amount of color and personality to any outfit. Wear them with shorts during the day,  or dress them up with a maxi skirt and top for a night out.
